Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is recruiting a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a friendly, growing business based near Stamford. This role suits someone with around a year's finance or accounts experience, strong numerical skills and excellent Excel ability including VLOOKUP.

You’ll handle bank and account reconciliations, invoicing, payments and finance reporting, reporting to the Head of Finance within a small, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• We're looking for around a year's finance/accounts experience in finance, accounts or accounting environment.
• Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail with good Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP.
• You could be working as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator or Junior Finance Assistant and seek broader experience.

Responsibilities

• Bank and account reconciliations
• Reconciling funds received and investigating discrepancies
• Allocating incoming payments
• Preparing and reconciling international outbound payments
• Raising invoices and allocating customer payments
• Calculating commission payments
• Weekly balance sheet reconciliations
• Finance reporting and analysis
• Supporting finance projects
• Helping colleagues and customers with finance-related queries
