We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Finance Assistant to join our friendly, collaborative team on a part-time basis. This role would suit a qualified bookkeeper or finance professional with 10+ years’ experience in finance, ideally within an SME or creative industry environment.

You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team. Your main responsibilities will cover:

Key responsibilities:

·Accounts Payable – process supplier invoices and prepare supplier payments

·Accounts Receivable – raise sales invoices and manage customer billing queries

·Credit Control – monitor and follow up on outstanding debts in a professional manner

·General Ledger Posting – enter journals accurately into accounting software

·Payroll support – assisting HR as required

·Query Management – liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve invoice/payment queries

This role also involves collaboration with multiple internal teams

About you

You’ll be a proactive and adaptable finance professional who enjoys working in a close-knit team. You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude to a varied role in a growing company.

Essential Experience and Attributes

·Qualified Bookkeeper (AAT or equivalent) or qualified by experience

·Minimum 10 years’ experience in a finance role

·Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred)

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently

·A natural team player with a problem-solving mindset

·Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams
