Join Our Client's Team as a Part-Time Finance Assistant!

Are you an organised individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for customer service? Do you have experience using Sage software and the ability to start immediately? If so, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:
Our client in Aston Clinton is seeking a cheerful and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their friendly, busy team on a part-time basis. Enjoy working 25-30 hours a week over 5 days, Mondays to Fridays. The working hours can be flexible between 8:30am and 5pm. This role is on a temporary basis with a view to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming accounts calls from both private customers and companies with a pleasant demeanour.
  • Handle credit control via email and phone.
  • Perform general accounts work and postings on Sage 200 Professional.
  • Assist with reasonable additional office duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience with Sage and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Confidence in working to tight deadlines.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location, with parking provided.

Duties Include:

  • Invoice reconciliation
  • Processing PayPal payments
  • Handling queries and providing support to customers via phone and email
  • Chasing outstanding payments and performing BACS payments
