Job summary

Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is seeking a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join the Allied Health Professionals and Psychology department on a permanent part‑time basis.

In this role you will provide specialist family and systemic therapy to individuals, couples and families, undertake assessments, develop tailored treatment plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person‑centred care and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy.
• UKCP registration via approved route (IFP/AFSP or College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy).
• AFSP (formerly AFT) registration expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist family and systemic therapy to individuals, couples and families.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to support recovery and strengthen family dynamics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for person-centred care.
• Support families to understand mental health difficulties and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to risk assessments and care planning.
• Contribute to service development and ongoing therapeutic improvements.
