NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in this discipline. Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year end, the application will expire and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool.

Instruction of Theatre courses, i.e., Intro to Theatre and Playwriting

Rate of pay: $765 per workload hour

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Skills require academic background in Theatre, knowledge of theatre techniques, and the ability to work with potential directors, actors, stage techs, and playwrights.

The work environment is typically moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Activities
Employees must frequently manipulate items with fingers, sit, stand, and walk; and constantly hear, perform repetitive motions, and talk. Close visual acuity is required for activities such as data analysis, transcribing, computer work, reading, and visual inspection.
