NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in this discipline. Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year end, the application will expire, and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool.

Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour
Experience with leadership at a community college or educational institution is a plus. Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority. Instructional and leadership experience at a community college is preferred. Ability to use online platforms, deliver instruction online, and utilize technology for instruction are important. Experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration.
The work environment is typically moderate noise. Physical activities include manipulating items with fingers, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, repetitive motion, and talking. Visual acuity is required for tasks such as data analysis, transcribing, viewing a computer, and extensive reading. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
A Master's Degree in Communication or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Communication is required.
Teaching experience is preferred.
