Job description

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in this discipline.

Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year-end, the application will expire, and a new application must be submitted to remain in the applicant pool.

Positions are available during days, evenings, and weekends. Part-time positions are not immediate hires but serve as a resource for departments to address immediate needs.

Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs.
  • Knowledge of campus and community resources.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs.
  • Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.
  • Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate recommendations.
  • Ability to compile information into report form.
