Job summary

voco St. David's Cardiff have a fantastic opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our Cardiff Bay 5-star hotel on an 8-hour per week contract. This is a Fixed-Term assignment until 3rd January 2027, and you will earn £13.15 per hour, plus service charge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter or bartender.
• Experience with working with customers in a busy environment.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a hotel team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Provide on-the-spot service during events.
• Heavy lifting may be required during setup and events.
• Support various events such as corporate meetings, baby showers, weddings.
