Job summary

NTW Solutions Limited is recruiting a Domestic Assistant for Parklane Community Mental Health Clinic, Workington, Cumbria. This 15-hour-per-week role offers afternoon shifts (3:30pm–6:30pm) Monday to Friday within NHS settings.

You will perform ward and facility cleaning, maintain hygiene standards, and follow COSHH and infection control rules. Training will be provided, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, care, and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Basic levels of literacy and numeracy are essential.
• Experience in cleaning is welcome but training will be provided.
• The role requires adherence to safety and COSHH rules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks in offices, corridors, wards, bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Dust, hoover, mop and polish surfaces and equipment.
• Follow a routine work schedule with minimal supervision.
• Be respectful and compassionate when working with patients and staff.
• Comply with infection prevention requirements and quality documentation.
• Support cleaning audits and trainings as required.
