WORKING HOURS: 20 HOURS PER WEEK
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 19:00 - 23:00
PAY RATE: £13.50 PER HOUR
We are seeking an experienced cleaning supervisor with great attention to detail. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. The role involves carrying out cleaning and supervisory duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading and engaging a team to deliver high standards of cleaning throughout the building.
- Cleaning duties in areas such as washrooms, kitchens, reception, offices, meeting rooms, corridors, stairs, breakout areas, and lifts.
- Overseeing waste management, ensuring proper handling and transportation.
- Maintaining shower blocks and replenishing towels.
- Cleaning and scrubbing hard floors, spot cleaning carpets, vacuuming common areas.
- Providing training to team members through monthly toolbox talks and safety moments.
- Ensuring all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe to use.
- Responding to spillages and callouts from onsite team.
- Communicating effectively with onsite and management teams.
- Ensuring team compliance with PPE and health & safety policies.
- Working independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Undergoing training on cleaning methods and equipment.
- Managing holiday and absence coverage, maintaining cleaning standards.
- Performing touch point cleaning and laundry duties.
- Managing stock levels and signing in procedures onsite.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Previous supervisor cleaning experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods or willingness to learn.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to a busy operational environment.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Physical fitness for an active role.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Punctuality, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Completion of background verification and security checks, including criminal and credit checks, with documented proof of eligibility.
