Job summary

Durston House, an independent school in Ealing, West London, seeks an Estates & Facilities Manager on a 0.5 FTE basis (part-time). You’ll own the school’s estate, directing a capable maintenance team and coordinating with contractors to keep compliance and safety up to date.

You’ll introduce Statlog, manage risk assessments and training, and enjoy pension contributions, plus meals and staff benefits. A flexible pattern across five mornings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a maintenance or facilities operation.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating external services.
• Knowledge of health and safety (H&S) and compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the maintenance team and facilities operations.
• Manage contractors and oversee maintenance, inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure training, compliance, and H&S procedures are followed.
• Lead the rollout of the Statlog policy management system.
