A prestigious coeducational school in South Oxfordshire is seeking a part-time English teacher to join their collaborative team. The suitable candidate will inspire pupils, report to the Head of English, and work across three days weekly. St Hugh's is a highly regarded coeducational day and boarding school with 350 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 40 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford. In June 2025, the Headmaster and Governors announced that St Hugh's would be opening a Senior School in September 2026. It is a very exciting time to be joining St Hugh's.
The post holder will report directly to the Head of English. This is a part-time position (0.36% FTE), working across three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). There may be an opportunity to increase hours in the prep school as the Senior School launches.
