Job summary

Draken Europe is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager (part-time) based in Bournemouth with regular UK travel. The role leads engineering activities across Operations and Programme, coordinating within Integrated Delivery Teams and collaborating with Design Office, CAMO, Manufacturing and MRO.

Qualifications

• Degree or recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (aerospace, electrical or mechanical).
• Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams within a regulated environment.
• Experience delivering complex engineering programmes with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyse technical information and solve complex problems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
• Experience in Aerospace/Defence sector and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and represent the Engineering function throughout the project lifecycle from bid stage to delivery and support.
• Develop and deliver engineering solutions meeting customer, operational, quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Act as the main interface between Engineering, Programmes, customers and stakeholders.
• Lead technical teams and validate solutions to meet requirements.
• Manage engineering risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Support bid activities including technical solution development and customer engagement.
• Monitor programme performance against cost, quality, schedule and KPI targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across Engineering functions.
• Provide technical leadership and build strong customer/partner relationships.
