Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks an EMDR and Complex Trauma Specialist Therapist to join the Central Shropshire CMHT, working 28 hours per week with travel within Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. You will assess, formulate and deliver trauma-focused psychological therapies to adults, using EMDR and NICE-recommended approaches.

The role involves face-to-face and some remote appointments, maintaining clinical records, and contributing to service audits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering EMDR and trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience conducting psychological interviews and risk assessments.
• Ability to deliver both face-to-face and remote sessions.
• Maintain clinical documentation and use of outcome measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist EMDR and Complex Trauma therapies to adults.
• Conduct psychological interviews and interpret data from measures.
• Perform risk assessment and management.
• Produce assessment reports and feedback to referrers.
• Develop formulations and treatments for PTSD and C-PTSD.
• Support audits and data collection on therapy outcomes.
