Job summary

University of Bristol’s Bristol Medical School is seeking an experienced EMDR therapist to support the EYE-D trial for depression in primary care. The role entails delivering EMDR per the DeprEnd protocol, with training and supervision provided, and working 0.5 FTE in a hybrid setup with some travel to GP practices in Bristol and nearby regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMDR for depression to trial participants with fidelity to the DeprEnd protocol.
• Assess and manage risk per professional standards and local policies.
• Plan, prioritise workload and discharge clients within a defined activity contract.
• Coordinate with the trial team to support day-to-day trial operations.
