Job summary

Grove Park Primary School in England is seeking an experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. The role also includes Midday Supervisor duties in a part-time arrangement.

The successful candidate will support learning experiences, assist with materials, and help track pupil progress while fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Good subject knowledge in reading, writing and maths to assist the teacher in delivering lessons.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be patient, caring and committed to supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to support their learning and development.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs as required.
