Spring Nurseries by Action for Children is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (Level 2/3) for lunch cover in Norwich. The role supports children aged 0–5 during mealtimes, helping them feel safe, independent and cared for while the team takes breaks.

The post is part-time (17.5 hours/week) with potential to take additional hours during school holidays or to cover leave. Benefits include generous annual leave, discounts and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• Safeguarding Level 2 or ability to achieve.
• Experience in an early year's childcare setting or with children.
• Knowledge of children’s emotional, physical, psychological and educational development 0–5 years.
• Commitment to safer recruitment practices and safeguarding best-practice.

• Support children during lunchtime to create a safe, happy and calm environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families, supporting inclusion and confidence.
• Observe and support development, recognizing individual needs and progress.
