Job summary

Bright Horizons Harwell Day Nursery in Harwell, Oxfordshire, is seeking an Early Years Assistant to support babies and children up to age 5 with interactive activities and development-focused play.

You will join a collaborative team on a permanent contract, working 32 hours per week over four days, with safeguarding and DBS checks as part of our process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare is helpful but not essential.
• Roles include Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Early Years Educator.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a supportive team.
• Engage in interactive play, stories, reading, and activities to aid development.
• Support colleagues and communicate with parents to track progress and milestones.
