Do you have a desire to inspire young people to explore their creativity, develop essential life skills, and understand the importance of food and nutrition? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving DT department in a Catholic secondary school in Hounslow on a part-time basis (4 days a week).

  • Encourage students to experiment with different ingredients and recipes, fostering their creativity and passion for food.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our DT curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in DT and Food Technology education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and access to employee assistance programs.
  • Excellent professional development opportunities, including opportunities for subject-specific training in DT and Food Technology.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment where your contributions are valued.
  • Opportunities to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as cooking clubs and food-related events.
