Job summary

Wilsons Auctions in Telford is seeking a keen yard operative to join our Hadley site. The role covers parking weekly vehicle sales, stock control of vehicles and safely driving vehicles through auction when required.

You will need a full clean driving licence (three years+), be able to multitask under pressure, maintain good timekeeping and work well within a team. Prior driving or valeting experience is desirable and hours are approximately 2–3 hours on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Qualifications

• Hold a full clean driving licence for three years or more.
• Capable of multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Previous driving / valeting experience.

Wilsons Auctions are the largest independently owned auction house in the UK and Ireland. With 10 centres across Ireland and the UK we are continually expanding and currently have an exciting role available within our Telford Branch.

The successful candidate will be based at the above site and duties will include the following:

• Parking weekly vehicle sales
• Stock control of vehicles
• Driving vehicles through auction when required

The ideal applicant should meet the following essential criteria:

• Hold a full clean driving licence for three years or more
• Be capable of multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Previous driving / valeting experience

Hours of Work: Wednesday & Friday approx. 2-3 hours per day.
