Job summary

Zest Optical Recruitment are recruiting a GOC registered Dispensing Optician for an independent practice in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The role is part-time, 3–5 days, with 9:00am–5:30pm hours, alternate Saturdays and no Sundays. Salary £30,000–£34,000 pro rata, with a bonus scheme and 20 days holiday plus BHs.

Qualifications

• GOC registered Dispensing Optician with current registration.
• Excellent knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and frames.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and advise patients.

Responsibilities

• Involve in all aspects of dispensing and patient care.
• Take over an established patient following a long-serving optician.
• Work with an on-site laboratory and audiology service.
• Provide support to nearby practices as needed.
