Job summary

Zest Optical in Kidderminster is recruiting a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician for a part-time role (3, 4 or 5 days per week). The post offers £30,000 - £34,000 pro rata plus bonus, with a November start and a refurbishment planned.

The practice welcomes applications from those seeking a flexible pattern, including alternate Saturdays. You will dispense premium eyewear and work alongside Optometrists, a lab team, and an Audiologist in a busy six-day practice, using Digital Mirror and Optix

Qualifications

• GOC registered Dispensing Optician with good dispensing and communication skills.
• Patient-focused with strong technical knowledge.
• Professional, organised and supportive of colleagues.
• Willing to work in a busy independent practice and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispense eyewear and provide patient care in a busy practice.
• Work with premium brands and on-site lab facilities.
• Utilise Digital Mirror and Optix software for dispensing and records.
• Support neighbouring practices and participate in ongoing training.
