Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is inviting applications for a Part Time Specialty Grade Dentist (0.38 WTE) to join the Dental Education Team at the Eastman Dental Hospital Education Centre. The role focuses on educating the future workforce while working alongside experienced clinical and academic staff.

The post requires current GDC registration as a dentist with at least 3 years’ experience in primary or secondary care; NHS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold current GDC registration as a dentist with at least 3 years current experience working within primary or secondary care.
• NHS experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education, training and assessment of the undergraduate students within the EDHEC Dental Hygiene and Therapy programme.
• Provide clinical supervision and support for undergraduate students within the EDHEC Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
• Contribute to the design, delivery and quality assurance of the education and training programmes.
• Support the development and implementation of EDHEC strategies in collaboration with the Programme Director / Deputy to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake administrative, managerial, and other responsibilities as agreed with Programme Director / Deputy
