Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is recruiting a Delivery Driver in Washington (NE37 3BR). This part-time role is 22.5 hours per week under a fixed-term assignment ending 31 December 2026.

You must have a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with up to 6 points and right to work in the UK. Responsibilities include safe delivery of Argos products to customers or collection points, loading the van, and maintaining courteous service within a structured shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Must be fully licensed to drive and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Argos products to customers' doorsteps or collection points.
• Load the van and complete a set number of drops per shift with guidance from an ePod.
• Maintain timely and accurate deliveries with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Phone support provided while on the road; route guidance helps return to site within shift times.
• Drive safely and adhere to driving guidelines.
