Job summary

Co-op in Heald Green is seeking a Customer Team Member to deliver friendly, helpful service in a busy store. You’ll help keep shelves stocked and assist customers on the shop floor, tills, bakery, or post office as required.

Full, paid training is provided. The role is 16 hours per week with regular overtime, permanent, part time, with a mix of opening, middle and closing shifts including some weekend work.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operations with friendly, thoughtful service.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Assist on tills, in-store bakery, or post office as required.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
