Job summary

Wickes is opening a brand-new store in Workington and seeks Customer Service Assistants to join the team. With up to 13 opportunities, roles are part-time with various shift patterns and hours to fit around school times. Training will occur locally, with a Welcome Day on 26th October.

Grow within a friendly, supportive environment led by Store Manager Heather Ronson. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, stock replenishment, deliveries, and tills operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and a flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers.
• Keep shelves stocked and well-presented.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishment.
• Ensure trolleys and baskets are available.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised store.
• Operate tills and provide a friendly checkout experience.
