Sainsbury’s Limited is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Christchurch. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with a permanent contract, delivering groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van. You will follow planned routes, ensure van safety, and help in-store when not delivering.

You’ll join a team that values friendly, reliable service and a safe delivery experience for every customer. Flexible working is offered as part of the scheduling process.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of interview; a driving assessment will follow if successful

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Carry out checks to ensure van is roadworthy, clean and organised, with secure shopping
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying traffic and weather conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and deliver to properties including steps or longer walks from the van
• Communicate effectively with customers and handle delays or order changes
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
