Venatu Consulting Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Credit Controller to join a close-knit and supportive finance team in the HU15 area.

This part-time role focuses on managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining accurate financial records, with 16 hours per week. It offers a great work-life balance and the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day financial operations within an established business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Credit Controller or in a similar finance role.
• Experience dealing with customer accounts and overdue payments.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confident communication with customers by phone and email.
• Proactive and positive work approach.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit control activities and chase outstanding payments.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Discuss account queries and overdue payments with customers.
• Maintain debtor schedules and send letters and correspondence.
• Complete weekly statement runs and daily banking duties.
• Process BACS payments and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support wider finance team with administration.
