Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is sourcing a Cost Controller for an Oil & Gas operator on a part-time basis in Aberdeen, with a start date asap. The role is 2.5–3 days per week, based in Kingswells, for an initial 12-month PAYE contract.

You will lead cost control delivery, mentor the team, and drive monthly cost reviews with budget holders. You will collate information for grant claims and ensure compliance with DESNZ requirements and company policies. Familiarity with Upstream E&P and SAP is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified and/or appropriate experience in cost control.
• Experience in oil & gas cost control or cost engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a part-time pattern with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of cost control services for Viking CCS.
• Mentor and support cost controllers within the team.
• Drive monthly cost reviews with budget holders.
• Coordinate project cost information for senior management.
• Ensure grant claims are prepared and supported per requirements.
• Ensure cost data supports government grants and negotiations.
