Part Time Corporate Finance role (M&A)
Hours: 20 + per week
Location: Remote (UK based as required to visit clients)

We are currently recruiting a rare part time, Corporate Finance specialist position, which will be remotely based (UK only). Joining four experienced practitioners (an ex-partner and senior leader, 2 associate/managers), we are looking for someone who is keen to take on new challenges, is commercially minded and passionate about delivering results, but wants some flexibility!


Description


The role will be based remotely from home, however will potentially involve travel to meet clients in the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire/South Wales area. This requires a hands-on individual, with a passion for business, with exposure to managing or supporting on acquisitions, disposals, management buy outs and buy ins, along with fund raising for clients across all sectors (all levels of experience welcome to apply from junior though to senior). You will have the opportunity to work on a range of deals, in a small team, with a strong pipeline. This role will enable you to potentially take part in initial client meetings and deal structuring, preparation of financial models and the creation of business plans. Some experience is required in a "deals" environment and ideally you will be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with a passion for delivering high quality results and ensuring the client's needs are met.
You will have the following attributes

  • Deals experience ESSENTIAL (M&A, transactions services, restructuring, in-house M&A).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster client relationships, maintaining a strong confidentiality ethic.
  • Proactive and positive with a strong team focus and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good eye for detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
