2 Days per week
08.00 - 17:30
Three week rota
Catering for residents of 23 bed Care Home
Cooking experience / Skills required in busy kitchen
Practical working knowledge of food hygiene (training provided) and Cooksafe Food Standards
Excellent time keeping

The Role

Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, as and when required
Provide for special dietary requirements where necessary, and take into account the preferences of individual Residents
Liaise with the Home Manager when planning / costing menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh foods
Maintain accurate records as required by Priority Care and Statutory Bodies
Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas
