Get Golfing CIO is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Part-time Cook to join our dynamic team at Ansty Golf Club. As the lead Cook, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food services for events and functions, alongside our daily casual dining trade. This role would really suit someone looking for a flexible 'life work' balance, someone who has worked in the school, nursing home or cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with group chef to execute seasonal menu's
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards
  • Coordinate with our management team to understand the catering requirements
  • Manage food inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and properly stored
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Stock control and delivery procedures

Requirements

Requirements

  • Would suit someone with previous catering experience in a cafe/school/care home kitchen environment
  • Passion for food
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Food hygiene level 2 certificate
