Job summary

The Manchester College is hiring a part-time Cleaner at their Harpurhey campus in North Manchester. The role involves carrying out general cleaning across classrooms, offices and communal areas, with full training provided.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential; reliability and punctuality are valued. This is a permanent, part-time position (15 hours per week) with salary around £13.45 per hour, plus benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience required or helpful.
• Hold or work towards British Institute of Cleaning Sciences (BICs) or similar.
• Manual Handling training.
• Risk assessment training.
• COSHH training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties across classrooms, offices and communal areas.
• Ensure high hygiene standards and work as part of a supportive team.
• Any additional cleaning tasks as required by the Facilities team.
