Job summary

Roundwood Surgery in Mansfield is recruiting a housekeeper to maintain clean, infection-controlled clinical and non-clinical areas. The role includes cleaning, waste handling, logging tasks on TeamNet, and acting as a keyholder for locking up and alarms.

It is a 25-hour-per-week post, Monday to Friday, with some solo work during staff absences. Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths (A-C) and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow infection prevention procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect consultation and treatment rooms and other clinical areas under infection prevention procedures.
• Clean reception, waiting areas, corridors, offices, staff areas, toilets and communal spaces.
• Carry out periodic and deep cleaning in line with the Practice cleaning schedule.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely under COSHH and colour-coded systems.
• Complete daily TeamNet cleaning logs and record incomplete tasks with reasons.
• Act as designated keyholder, securing the premises and setting the alarm.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents and confidentiality concerns promptly.
