Location: Brentry, BS10
Job Role: Part-Time Cleaning Supervisor
Hours: Monday to Friday 6pm-9pm
Role Type: Temporary to permanent
Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor for our client based in Brentry, Bristol, BS10. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member providing support to key operations.

Please note DBS Check is required to apply for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitising food production machinery, including tray sealers, conveyors, depositors, and multi-head weighers
  • Cleaning large food-contact storage tanks, stainless steel worktables, shelving, walls, sinks, drains, floors, and other surfaces within the production and changing room areas
  • Washing and sanitising utensils, bowls, trays, tools, and other food processing equipment
  • Following detailed cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures to ensure full compliance with food safety standards
  • Using appropriate PPE and cleaning chemicals safely, following COSHH guidelines
  • Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately
  • Assisting in the preparation and resetting of the production area for the next working shift
  • Supporting the wider team and reporting any issues or damage to equipment or surfaces

The Candidate:

  • Previous cleaning experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment safely (training provided)
  • Good level of spoken and written English to understand procedures and complete checklists
