Rooted Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to work two days per week in Wrexham. This part-time role involves cleaning communal areas, restrooms and training rooms, and using equipment like steam cleaners and floor buffers to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Hours run Thursday and Friday with finishing times of 18:15 on Thursday and 17:15 on Friday. COSHH awareness and safe practices are important, and the role suits someone who can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and appropriate safe-working practices.
• Knowledge of COSHH, PPE, manual handling requirements and slip/trip prevention.
• Reliable and organised, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, restrooms, welfare facilities and training rooms to consistently high standards.
• Complete routine and deep-cleaning activities, including operating equipment such as steam cleaners and floor buffers.
• Empty bins, support waste segregation and recycling, and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as required.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe-working practices while helping maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
