Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a Cleaning Operative (Part Time) to maintain high cleanliness standards across housing projects in the UK. This 8-hour weekend role offers an hourly rate of £13.46 with shifts on Saturday and Sunday. You will report works using IT tools and ensure void rooms and communal areas meet contractual targets.

We value reliability, organisation, and a commitment to safe, high-quality cleaning. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

Cleaning experience.
IT skills and ability to confidently use applications to report works.
Extremely well organised.
Have a high standard of cleaning.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled work on void rooms to high standards per contract targets.
Clean rooms/communal areas to a high quality standard as directed.
Prepare void rooms for new residents.
Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly.
Ensure kitchen and laundry areas are clean and hazard free; maintain common areas.
Keep communal areas hygienic and well maintained.
Report repairs to the maintenance office team.
Carry out sharps sweeps and follow COSHH and company policies.
