Job summary

The Salvation Army in Malton Church is seeking a part-time Cleaner to ensure the building is clean, neat and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment. You will be a keyholder and work largely on your own with reliability, honesty and integrity essential.

Responsibilities include cleaning halls, offices, rooms, toilets and kitchens, with periodic checks and replenishment of supplies, while reporting needs to Corps Officers as required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience
• Ability to work alone and use initiative
• Knowledge of Health & Safety including COSHH

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of halls, offices, rooms, and entrance.
• Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floors.
• Cleaning kitchen areas.
• Weekly legionella checks as required.
• Ensuring that the external entrance is free from litter.
• Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished regularly and informing the Corps Officers of cleaning supplies needs in a timely manner.
