Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a part-time Cleaner to work 25 hours per week and care for a branch, performing cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the building in a clean, orderly condition.

You will clean designated areas, perform routine inspections, and carry out heavier cleansing tasks, while reporting faults and ensuring health and safety compliance. The role requires punctuality and presentability, with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and complete routine inspections.
• Capable of performing heavy cleansing tasks and basic repairs.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning).
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff and follow health and safety rules.
