Job summary

Serco Limited, on behalf of Birmingham Community Leisure Trust, is hiring a Cleaner at Northfield Leisure Centre. The role involves maintaining high cleanliness standards, following COSHH guidelines, and supporting a welcoming, safe environment for visitors and staff. Part-time with a 3-week rota including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning role or ability to demonstrate the skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building.
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete checklists accurately.
• Report cleaning issues or maintenance concerns to the manager.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Inspect, use, clean and store cleaning equipment safely and contribute to good housekeeping.
