Job summary

BPL Trading limited. is looking for a Team Member Cleaner at the Barnsley Metrodome to help maintain a clean and welcoming leisure centre environment.

You will work across wet and dry areas, following cleaning schedules and safety policies, while providing friendly customer service. The role involves early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with free parking and opportunities to develop within our Leisure team.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in leisure, retail, or high-traffic environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Ability to work in wet and dry environments.
• Strong attention to hygiene standards.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across wet and dry areas.
• Clean wet side changing rooms, poolside areas, showers, toilets and lockers.
• Clean dry side changing rooms, showers, toilets and locker areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in high footfall areas such as reception, corridors and activity spaces.
• Keep fitness studios, food court and café seating areas tidy.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety policies.
