The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth is seeking a friendly Cleaner to join our Estates and Facilities team on a part-time permanent basis. You will maintain cleanliness in main sanctuary sites, ensuring all public and staff areas are presented to the highest standard.

Ideal candidates will have cleaning experience, be fluent in English, hold a valid driving licence, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Benefits include life assurance, generous holiday, wellbeing support, and more.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
• Full valid driving licence.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Reliable and proactive with good time management.
• COSHH awareness and safe cleaning practices are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties in public and staff areas to a high standard.
• Support cleaning services for events and activities as required.
• Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning products following COSHH instructions.
• Keep all cleaning equipment tidy and in good condition; report faults.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and accidents as they occur.
