Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part‑time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 30 hours per week.

As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver clean, safe environments for clients and customers, with shifts 5 days out of 7 and a 50.2‑week per year pattern. This role supports Defence contracts across sites, with a flexible approach to working.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands‑on role and working in a practical environment.
• Experience in cleaning is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working patterns and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments hygienic and safe.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Regularly sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints.
• Handle spillages quickly and efficiently and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
