Job summary

Concept Resources are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaner to work at a government office in Coventry. This is a long-term temporary position, ideal for someone with previous commercial cleaning experience who is looking for consistent morning working hours.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, corridors and washrooms, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces, and following site security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning offices, corridors, washrooms and communal areas.
• BPSS clearance required.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Able to work mornings and travel to Coventry.

Duties

• Cleaning offices, communal areas, corridors and washrooms.


• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.


• Dusting and sanitising desks, surfaces and high-touch areas.


• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.


• Replenishing washroom supplies.


• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Working independently and completing all allocated cleaning duties.


• Following site health and safety procedures.


• Using the mandatory telephone clocking-in and clocking-out system.


• Following site security procedures, including key holding and alarm operation where required.


• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed within the allocated shift.

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.


• BPSS Clearance Required: Candidates must be willing and able to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening.


• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.


• Must be comfortable working alone.


• Willingness to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system if required.


• Ability to use a telephone-based attendance system.


• Reliable, punctual and able to work morning shifts.
