Job overview
We are looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to join our team at the Bicester Community Hospital to provide a safe and clean environment for patients and staff across our inpatient and non-ward areas. The role involves housekeeping duties as well as preparing and serving cook/chill meals for patients.
Bicester Community Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation and palliative care for people no longer requiring acute care. The hospital has 12 beds and a dedicated team of nurses, and occupational therapists and is supported by GPs and gerontologists (doctors specialising in the care of older people).
We're looking for team players who are flexible and reliable, with good interpersonal and communication skills. You'll be a key part of improving our patient experience by providing a high-quality housekeeping service ensuring a clean and safe environment for all. You'll also be carrying out terminal and enhanced cleaning.
Ideally, you'll have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification however we can provide training required for all aspects of this role so please do consider applying, even if you don't have a lot of experience in this area.
