Job summary

A community-supported organization in Rye Foreign is seeking a part-time Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and assist in meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and good interpersonal skills. This position offers benefits including holiday, pension, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

Your role

  • Keep communal areas, offices, and kitchens clean and tidy
  • Complete all cleaning duties to a high standard
  • Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely
  • Help prepare meals and drinks while meeting customers’ needs and respecting their privacy and dignity
  • Experience with general cleaning duties (desirable)
  • Some experience in a domestic or catering environment
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
