Job Description:

EYFS - Year 2 Class Teacher, Rugby, September start, part-time job.

A wonderful village school based in Rugby requires a class teacher from September until the end of the academic year. This role is permanent, but they may consider temporary to permanent - ECTs are welcome to apply.

This is a 2-form entry school, and planning will be shared amongst your specific year group. The successful candidate should be empathetic, understanding, and a team player.

This is a part-time role. Your working days will be Wednesday PM only, Thursday and Friday all day.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, logging pupil progress, undertaking parents' evenings, writing end-of-year reports, and attending staff meetings.

If you prefer a full-time role, you can supplement your week with day-to-day supply work.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Good knowledge of the primary school EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and environments confidently.
  • Experience teaching within the last 5 years and hold a QTS, PGCE, or ECT qualification.
