Job summary

Eurofins UK Environment Testing is seeking a part-time laboratory analyst to perform routine chemical testing and data capture in a UKAS/ISO 17025 compliant environment. You will prepare standards, carry out analyses, maintain records, and support quality and housekeeping across the lab.

The role supports accurate, timely results with stringent quality control, following all laboratory procedures and guidelines. Preference given to candidates with academic lab experience and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Strong practical laboratory skills and ability to follow SOPs and test methods.
• Excellent data recording and management.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience from academic laboratory work placements is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standards, reagents, and samples following approved methods.
• Carry out chemical analyses using available techniques and equipment.
• Ensure timely results and report issues to supervisor.
• Enter data into LIMS and other databases with accuracy.
• Maintain records and keep work areas clean and safe.
