Job summary

The Crieff Food Company is seeking a Part Time Permanent Chef for our in-house Restaurant in Crieff. The successful candidate will join a small kitchen team and support all areas of food production for the full menu, ensuring high standards of freshness and presentation.

Hours are 28 per week over 4 days with weekend work required. The role offers a competitive rate (£13.27 per hour), no evening shifts and no split shifts, with time off on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day to enjoy

Qualifications

• Passion for good quality fresh produce and food
• Understanding of food hygiene requirements
• Good food presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work well and efficiently under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
