About Us:

The Piano Works is a lively, late-night live music venue featuring nightly performances by eight skilled musicians who interact with the audience and take song requests. Live music runs from 11:30 to 16:00 for our Saturday brunches and from 17:00 to 01:00 five nights a week, supported by state-of-the-art sound & lighting systems and DJs from 1am till late.

What We Need:

As a Chef, you will prepare and produce quality food, ensure service standards are met, and follow food safety and sanitation practices. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes with pride, passion, and according to our brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee food preparation, ensuring dishes meet high standards and follow recipes and plating guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Organize and supervise kitchen staff for smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed to prevent shortages.
• Enforce health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering skill development and a positive work culture.
• Assist in managing food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredients.
• Support management in delivering excellent guest experiences.

Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Creativity and passion for food, with the ability to create appealing dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
